Enjoying the outdoors

Carter enjoyed some sunshine today, it was very warm out. He mostly stayed in the shade, the sun was too bright for his little eyes.

He's been doing great with sleeping in his crib. He continues to have great nights and some restless but all in all we are very proud of his progress.

He had therapy today, his 6 month check up and they are pleased with his progress. We set a goal for him 6 months ago, and he is doing all and more than what we had hoped for! He is so amazing!

He gets his last RSV shot next week, I hate seeing him in pain so I'm happy it's the last one!

Carter has a tooth!!!!

I found the top of a tooth poking out this morning. He held his own bottle for a minute, he tried formula and slept all night without making a peep in his big boy crib. He is growing up so fast!

He tried squash yesterday and loves it!!!

10 months old today

WOW! Time sure does fly by when you're having fun!!!

The biggest news in the last week is that we've (finally) transitioned Carter to his big boy crib in HIS room! The first night there were lots of tears from him and some from me.... It was painful! However last night and tonight have gone really well. He's been able to put himself back to sleep for the most part and only whines a little. I'm in his room until I'm comfortable leaving him by himself :).

He tried peaches yesterday. He doesn't like them as much as apples but seems to like them. The doctor said it takes roughly 15 times of giving them a food before you'll really know if they don't like it.

He started trying to hold his own bottle yesterday and is actually pretty good at it. We have a smart little guy here!!!

I am so proud of him for doing so awesome in his room! He is so amazing!

He likes apples

His new favorite food is apples! He loves them! He is sitting up like a champ, standing and trying so hard to crawl. He loves playing and making new noises! He's wearing 9 month clothes and some are tight, he's growing fast.

I love watching him grow and learn new things. He is such a sweet curious little boy!

Learning to stand

Carter loves standing! We practice a lot along with trying to crawl.
We had a great weekend, we always love having Daddy home with us.
Carter has his 9 month doctors appointment on Wednesday. I'm excited to see where he is at on the charts and to so get all my questions answered.
He is still learning to sleep all through the night in his crib. He did great tonight except the 2 times he woke up crying. He seemed panicked and scared. Ugh!
We will keep working at it, that's all we can do.
