Quick update

Carter is sure growing up! Our days normally involve being outdoors (weather permitting), art projects, playing, naps, baths, dancing, and of course eating.

Carter has had texture issues and was still eating baby food to supplement at meal time. Well, all of the sudden he doesn't like baby food and was refusing to eat. After some struggles, Nick & I read up and decided to let Carter feed himself. This meant quantity too! It was hard for us to adjust, but we've seen imporvement over the last week. He is still very picky so our choices are limited but the fact that we're off baby food is a big deal in our house! Yay!

He had been waking up in the middle of the night and would cry. To avoid having to clean up puke we would rock him back to sleep. This meant many sleepless nights for me. Well, we let him cry it out and after just two nights of minimal crying it looks like we're back to sleeping through the night! That is, until his sister arrives in 9 short weeks! ;)

We hope this finds everyone well!

On the verge of talking

Carter is on the verge of talking, and we couldn't be more proud. Yesterday, he said mom! Yay! He knows how to say mama, but always says dada! This just made my day. He is getting bigger, exploring as much as he can. He sure is growing up!!!!
He still loves horses, bubbles, and pretend play!!!

Quick update

Carter had an eye exam this morning and we are so happy to report that his eyes look GREAT!! He is AMAZING!!!! He is full of energy and keeps me busy. He loves pretending to play in his new kitchen. He takes apart his train track any chance he gets just so I can put it back together again. :)
He is so much fun!!!!!!

Remembering to cherish every moment!

Carter is growing up TOO fast!!! I find myself kissing him more, hugging him more and enjoying every second. I was always good at this, now I'm even better! I can't believe how big he is. He is a little boy! A climber! A busy busy little boy! Enjoy the pictures!
