Great day

Carter had another excellent day without a brady. His feeds are at 44ml now. If you've been keeping up with the blog, you'll notice that his feeds aren't supposed to be this high based upon the schedule laid out yesterday. Well, he was a hungry boy and the nurses recognized it and responded to his request for more milk.

He was very very hungry when we arrived tonight. I've never seen him like this before. He was very alert and he was grabbing for food. It was a great thing to see. After his bottle, he hiccuped a little and fell asleep. Oxygen levels were great. No poop yet. They think that should happen soon but his gut has to get back in the swing of things. We'll know his weight soon - we interrupted his cares at 8 so they're doing his weight at his 11pm ones.

Overall, we couldn't ask for a better day. Our prayers are being answered on a daily basis and it is a wonderful thing to watch unfold.
