Sick Day 2

Carter is still sick. All of his X-rays have come back negative and they sent more stool down for testing today. He was acting better than yesterday but still far from normal for a majority of the day but tonight he woke up when we got to the hospital. He is the same weight as yesterday, 2440 grams (5lbs 6oz). He's shown how sick he's feeling by the number of Brady's. After 4 o'clock tonight, he had 6. He normally has 1 per day, if that.

He was wiggling around and wide-eyed for a majority of the night. I kangaroo'd with him tonight since Sandy did today during the day. He was very cute and peaceful. His antibiotics are in full force at this point so we hope they make him feel better tomorrow. He still hasn't eaten. He may tomorrow depending on his morning bloodwork and X-rays.

He's been really cute with his thumb and pacifier. He tries to suck his thumb when he can find it but it's too small to maintain suction so it just looks like he's rubbing it around in circles on his protruding tongue. It's quite hilarious.

We'll keep everyone posted as the events unfold - as you know, Carter doesn't really have any secrets due to this blog! Thank you for the thoughts and prayers.
