Everything was all quiet on the western front until we got there tonight. As Sandy was getting him settled in her arms, we noticed him making a strained face and then BOOOOOOOM! He let out a very proud man-fart. Brought a tear to my eye - I can't tell if it was pride or the horrendous smell that followed and subsequently chased the nurse out of the room. Turns out it wasn't only a fart..........
Humor aside, that is a good sign. He's digesting well and his gi tract is functioning as it should. Pray for more days like this (relatively) quiet one for Carter.
