Last night was a tough night for Carter. He had had 5 bradys by 2 am. The nurse consulted the doctor and they put him back in his c-pap machine. He had a relatively good night after that.
He was on it for only 3 hours until they tried the low flow cannula again. As of now, they have increased the pressure in it from 25cc's to 50cc's and they have spaced out his feelings to 1.5 hours again. His chest x ray looked normal and his lab work is still out but initially looked normal. We think he may have just grown a bit and his feeding tube that goes from his nose to belly was up too high again. The nurse fixed it and he's responding well.
We will know the real plan when the doctor does rounds here in about 20 minutes. We'll keep you posted.
